Chatham’s community town centre carnival is back this summer after its huge success last year!

We are delighted that the material of TAPE by Numen/For Use is recreated into a giant dragon puppet by Medway artist Kerrie Owens in partnership with Nucleus Arts. It will be revealed at the parade of Chatham Carnival!

Carnival kicks off with our colourful Community Parade. Join us as we make our way up the High Street to the Carnival Stage from the Church Street junction of the high street to the Paddock outside the Pentagon entrance. The parade will consist of a variety of community groups, acts and sports clubs from across Medway’s diverse community, with rumours that the legendary Chatham Sea Monster might pay a visit…
